An educational guided tour of Tarbin Gardens with emphasis on attracting hummingbirds. Tours last approximately one hour but you can stay for the rest of the day. All Aboard The New Tanger Outlet Trolley
The Tanger Outlet Center in Tilton is making your outlet shopping excursion just a little bit easier this summer. The new Tanger Trolley was introduced during the recent Memorial Day weekend and will operate on weekends from 11 a.m - 4 p.m. through September 7th (Labor Day weekend). The Tanger Trolley is a free service that continually picks up and drops off shoppers at designated locations in the parking lot and in front of the stores at the Tanger Outlet Center.

Musicians and Bakers Invited for Jamboree at Shaker Village
Musicians and bakers are invited to participate in the Strawberry Jamboree, Saturday June 20th 10 am to 5 pm, at Canterbury Shaker Village. The Strawberry Jamboree will feature The Strawberry Jam, an open mic music jam led by TJ Wheeler and featuring Patrick “Hatrack” Gallagher. Summer Theatre Plans Family Day Matinees
The Summer Theatre in Meredith Village is initiating a new plan to make theatre more affordable for families living in and visiting the Lakes Region in the summertime. “We are making an effort to incorporate several family shows into our season” says Producing Director Nancy Barry.
Lakes Region Association Awarded 2009 Governor's Export Achievement Award
On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, The Lakes Region Association (LRA) was awarded the 2009 Governor's Export Achievement Award at the 33rd Governor's Conference on Tourism held in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire for it's part in the first-ever United States Department of Commerce - New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development cooperative marketing initiative which helped secure federal grand dollars for the state.

In an effort to give members of the Lakes Region Association the very best exposure, we have moved our offices to Exit 20 in Tilton. We are currently located in a temporary office space within the Franklin Savings Bank directly behind the Tilt'n Diner. The building will be undergoing construction shortly for the next couple of months.
