LRA offers a direct link from our home page to a Special Package section of the site to promote your package for free. The package is linked to your site to provide visitors more information. Our staff will submit your package to the NH Division of Travel and Tourism site, which will also provide free promotion.

Free listings on the Calendar of Events on www.lakesregion.org
Many visitors plan their trips around events in the Lakes Region. Receive free promotion of your event on the website (avg. 554,239 successful hits, 56,281 page views, and 25,623 unique visitors per month). The calendar of events is also included in the bi-weekly Member Bulletins and sent to media throughout New England.

New Group Market website
The Group Website www.lakesregion.org/groups will promote the Lakes Region to tour operators, travel agents, meeting planners, social event organizers and much more. The site will provide information for groups to plan with itineraries, attractions, accommodations, dining, transportation, meeting space, services and other necessary details to bring motor coaches and group events to the region.

Designed specifically for travel writers and journalists of travel related publications. Special press releases, story ideas, history, culture and much more are contained on the site to attract writers  

Visitor Centers and Brochure Display
Free brochure display, representation and visibility at two Lakes Region Information Centers
Your brochure and/or printed material will be distributed at the two Visitor Centers. New Hampton Visitor Information Center Located at 260 Rt 104, directly across from the 1-93 exit 23 off ramp – through a partnership with the White Mountain National Forest, we’re serving visitors 7 days a week, year-round. Alton Bay Information Center on Route 11A, May through October, an outside kiosk available year round.

Outside advertising and brochure kiosk
Advertising space is available for 12 months, 24 hours a day exposure to promote your business to visitors. Brochure rack to display your promotional materials is included. Kiosk location: Alton Bay, Gilford and New Hampton Visitor Center.

Duratrans
A reservation & information advertising board at the New Hampton Visitor Center. Visitors can use the phone provided to call you directly for reservations.

National Advertising Campaign
We advertising the Lakes Region in many national magazines and several newspapers.

Cooperative Advertising Campaign
We will advertise the Lakes Region in many weekly and daily newspapers to increase occupancy and visit counts during slow periods. Ads will run in early to mid June and again in mid August.

Cooperative Participation with NH Division of Travel & Tourism Development.
Participation in two 12 page full color freestanding inserts in newspapers with upscale households including New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Hartford and Providence as well as the Canadian English-speaking Quebec and the Maritimes. Total distribution is 1,781,600.

Public Relations
LRA hosts photographers, writers, and travel agents in conjunction with the NH Division of Travel & Tourism Development and Discover New England.

The association tracks and monitors legislation issues on a local, regional, and statewide basis. We will notify you of major tourism issues that impact your business and testify on behalf of the association to protect the business interests of our members and the region.
