Begin the day at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center walking the trails to see the live native New Hampshire wildlife and stroll through the beautiful Kirkwood Gardens and Shop at the Nature Store. $8.00 per person with complimentary ticket for tour operator and driver. (603) 968-7194.

Spend the afternoon shopping in the quaint lakeside village of Meredith. Stroll through manicured gardens while exploring the many shops, galleries, fine arts and crafts, boutiques and candy stores.
