FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kathie Worthington joins Meredith Village Savings Bank as Commercial Lender

Meredith Village Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Kathie Worthington has joined its commercial lending team and will be based at the bank’s new temporary office in Wolfeboro.

Although new to MVSB, Worthington is well-known in Wolfeboro, where she has served the banking needs of the community for more than 20 years. She started her career at Kingswood Bank (now Citizens Bank) in the 1980s and most recently worked at Community Bank and Trust (now Ocean Bank) for 16 years before moving to MVSB.

In her new role as vice president, commercial lender, Worthington works closely with area business owners to help them achieve their goals. She can offer a variety of lending solutions for businesses looking to purchase or expand their property, those who need to buy equipment, vehicles or other big-ticket items, or those seeking a flexible line of credit to help them run their business more effectively.

“MVSB is a great fit for me,” says Worthington. “We share the same commitment to the community and approach to customer service, which is to help customers make their own decisions about the products and services that are right for them. Plus, I’m able to continue to serve the town, people and local economy that I care so much about.”

Worthington’s ties to Wolfeboro include 11 years of service on the Wentworth Economic Development Corporation board. She also serves as treasurer for the Kingswood Vocational Building Trust. A resident of Tuftonboro, Worthington lives in Melvin Village with her husband.
