Meredith, NH – The Meredith New Hampshire Rotary Club is pleased to announce that the dates for their 41st annual ice fishing derby will be February 8-9, 2020. The Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby brings anglers and families from all over New England to enjoy the beauty of New Hampshire and also be in the running for over $50,000 in prize awards.
The derby draws participation from all over the country to the scenic Lakes Region of New Hampshire, which provides a great variety of lakes teaming with fish. The region is truly a winter wonderland, and the Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby headquarters is located in the picturesque town of Meredith, NH, a popular tourist destination on the shores of famous Lake Winnipesaukee. There are plenty of lodging options, from rustic to fancy, all nearby to all the lakeside action. There are also plenty of dining options and attractions in the region, which makes the 41st annual fishing derby a great family getaway adventure.
The 2020 event boasts over $50,000 in cash prizes. Event producers encourage everyone to register, since you don’t even need to fish to win one of the many cash prizes that are drawn throughout the weekend. Registration for the event is just $40 per person. Prizes for the top winning fish are $15,000, $5,000 and $3,000.

The Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby is produced by The Meredith Rotary Club which was founded in 1928, and established the Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby as its major fund raiser in 1978. The funds that are raised through the Ice Fishing Derby and other events enable the club to support the local communities with donations to the Food Pantry, Senior Center, the New Hampshire Veteran’s Home, scholarships to traditional and non-traditional students, and other worthy causes. Club members include men and women from the community who have experience with a wide variety of professions.
