The Season of Fun-Raising
It is the season of Fun(d) Raising, and we hope you will help us with these endeavors. Some of our giving is encouraged from loss, other giving by a sense of duty.
For us, it is in part acknowledgement for being so fortunate. We have lost a couple of important people that we remember. Both Sarah and John lost their dad’s to cancer about 6 years ago. We have also lost a couple important people in the last year. Donna, our friend Cris’ wife passed from Leukemia and Sarah’s mother had recently passed.
We Have had our fun raiser for our friend Liz who is working towards earning her way into the Pan Mass Challenge. The PMC is the largest fundraising event in the nation and raising 100% of rider donated dollars to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
And we support John’s Collage friend who had his brush with Leukemia as he rides in the Tour of the Litchfield Hills, which is similar to the Pan Mass Challenge, but in the Litchfield Hills Region of Connecticut.
We also are long time supporters of the Campton/Thornton First Responders. One dollar of every Dam Delight is donated to the first responders, and we regularly support them with other fun raisers. I am sure you will hear more about that soon.
AND not to be out done, We have a series of beers this summer supporting the New Hampshire Brewers Association. Look for the “Keep NH Brewing” IPA’s we have on tap this summer. A part of each pint goes to the NH Brewers Assoc.
To donate to any of these causes follow the links below and Thank you for your support of our brewery and those not for profit organizations that are important to us and our brewery.
