An Exploration of Yin Yoga at Meredith Whole Living Center

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Sunday, repeating until November 24, 2019
Ever wonder what Yin yoga is and why it has become popular? This workshop will provide a
foundational entry into the wonderful world of Yin.
Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, stretching deep tissue and fascia – such as ligaments, bones, and joints – that are not exercised very much in active yoga practices or sports.
Great for cyclists, runners, or anyone in looking to reduce stress. Yin is a brilliant compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels including beginners.
Due to its slow nature, this class is often described as a “moving meditation”.
Each class will include a full practice and time for questions.
We are offering three week sessions to encourage giving a regular practice of yin a try but each class can also stand alone.
