| Celebrate the season at Christmas at Canterbury on Saturday, December 6th from 1–6:30PM at Canterbury Shaker Village.
Holiday Cheer Activities We’ll have ornament making, a train display, multiple readings of The Polar Express, and festive drinks that are free and available to all of our community members and their families.
In addition, there are a number of unique ticketed events guests can join to feel the Holiday spirit at the Village
Wreath Making Enjoy a creative time making a beautiful wreath with Canterbury resident Jen Hopkins. Wreaths will be 20-22″, with a variety of greenery harvested locally from Canterbury as well as an assortment of ribbons, berries, pinecones, and other trinkets for guests to choose.
Holiday Tours Guests are guided on a Christmas-themed tour of the Village to see how the holiday was celebrated over the course of 200 years! Tours at 1:30PM and 2:30PM.
Holiday Concert and Cocktails Experience an enthralling holiday concert from Symphony New Hampshire Quartet, the premiere symphony orchestra of the Granite State, in the Dwelling House Chapel. Afterwards, a delectable reception will be held in the Hubbard Gallery, featuring gorgeous spreads of festive hors d’oeuvres and a signature event cocktail, all curated and provided by Fiddlehead’s Cafe.
