ESSENTIALS – In May, Wesley Woods will be running a series of workshops getting us back to the basics using essential oils and other ingredients.
On May 3rd at 12:00 Janet King from Meadow’s Pond Soaps in Canterbury, will hold a soap making workshop, demonstrating how to create a batch of soap the old-fashioned way, using oils, lye, and maybe even goats milk. She will talk about safety issues, and hand out step by step instructions for you to take home with you. All attendees will leave with soap made previous to the workshop, as the soap needs to harden and cured before it can be used.
On May 10th at 12:00 “Essential Oils for the Appetite” with Dr. Jilian Stogniew. Learn how to cook with oils and all natural ingredients. Sample the delicious treats you will learn how to make.
On May 31st at 12:00 Essential Scrubs, Lotions, & Balms. Go natural this summer, get back to the basics, with your body products, using all natural ingredients that most have stocked in their kitchen. All attendees will learn how to leave the chemicals behind, and leave with all natural products and instructions on how to make more right in the comfort of your own home. You will also get a chance to mix your own perfume for an additional charge.
At each workshop there will be a cost of $10 per person to attend, and a minimum of 10 people are needed to run the workshops. A light lunch will be included. Please contact Stace Dicker-Hendricks at 603-528-2555 or email@example.com for more information or to sign up for the class.
