Homeschool Class – Surviving the Winter January 27 10:00 am – 12:00 pm How do animals survive outside during the winter? Join us on the farm and on our nature trails to discover the different characteristics and behaviors animals have that allow them to survive in the coldest of months. Each month during the school year, a new lesson is offered using the farm and museum spaces as our classroom.
Programs are rain or shine, and participants should be prepared to be outside for at least part of the lesson. A notebook or journal is highly encouraged.
$6/participant, ages 6 and over. Chaperones are free unless staying at the museum post-lesson. This is not a drop-off program, so parents and guardians should be prepared to be with the group, and are encouraged to participate! Registration closes January 20/when filled; no walk-ins, please. Space is limited, so register now by calling 603-323-7591.
