Ice Out Virtual Party at New Hampshire Boat Museum
April 16 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Please join us for our first Virtual Ice-Out Party!
Have fun while supporting the NH Boat Museum from the comfort of your own home!
“Ice-Out” is when the ice that has covered the lake all winter melts enough so that the M/S Mount Washington cruise ship can navigate between its landing ports in Wolfeboro, Alton Bay, Weirs Beach, Meredith and Center Harbor. The date of this event has been recorded for over 130 years. The exact date and time is now determined by an observer in a small plane that flies over the lake daily. When the pilot radios in the Ice-Out call it is considered official!
“Silent” ONLINE Auction
The night provides the opportunity to bid on and win an array of tastefully selected live & silent auction items. Items from previous years include, weekend getaways, lake activities, hotel stays, sporting/special event tickets, gift baskets, gift certificates and more!
All proceeds benefit the New Hampshire Boat Museum’s mission of preserving, exhibiting, and educating about the history of boating and life on New Hampshire’s lakes.
