Come make a wearable work of art in the Arts and Crafts style!

Lucknow Mansion at Castle in the Clouds is a striking example of Arts and Crafts style architecture, but the Arts and Crafts Movement touched many art forms, including jewelry-making. In this workshop, you will first learn about Arts and Crafts jewelry, what was happening in the world to inspire it, and how to identify it. Then you will create a period piece to take home with you! Everyone will be given a sterling silver moonstone base to start with. Then, students will work with pliers and hammers to shape wire into an organic shape, and add gemstones to reflect the suffragette colors of the day. Finally, add a chain and a clasp to finish your piece into a wearable work of art.

This class is intended for adults and requires no prior experience. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance!
