Short Series Description

Hermit Woods Winery & Katie Dobbins Music partner together to present a monthly music series titled Songwriter RoundUp, where audience members can enjoy talented singer-songwriters from the New England Area in the Lakes Region’s premier listening room. Enjoy songs and stories from host Katie Dobbins and two additional guest acts as they perform acoustically in-the-round. New songwriters will be featured on the last Wednesday of every month in this intimate series! Tickets are $10 – $15 at hermitwoods.com.

Artist Bios

Katie Dobbins

With moving lyrics and mesmerizing melodies, folk-pop artist Katie Dobbins captivates audiences and opens hearts. Whether performing solo or with a band, in front of twenty or one-hundred people, Dobbins brings energy and a personal touch to every show. A story-teller at heart, her catchy words and sense of humor will have you nodding and singing along in no time. Katie’s mission is to share music and light wherever she goes, as evidenced by a recent fan review stating “this show was full of love, light, and positivity” (John Doherty). Her two albums She Is Free and There Is Light have earned her recognition at several local award shows and are available on all streaming platforms.

Red Daisy Revival

From Covid darkness sprouted Red Daisy Revival, a rich, colorful blend of country rock, nurtured with old soul, lighthearted fun, and a careful balance of dreaming big. When solo artist, singer-songwriter from New Hampshire, Morgan Clark, joined roots with Nashville native guitar playing rocker Daniel Kassel, they found love at first “write.” They met after a show when Daniel offered to help Morgan pack up her gear, reviving both faith and trust in following their song. They started writing music together and played their first collaboration in December 2019 at Bridgestone Arena for the Nashville Preds Intermission show. Then the music industry shut down. However, they kept growing with Morgan’s diner, a homegrown pie delivery with a 6 foot song. Daniel joined Morgan when he wasn’t remodeling homes. Later, on a Covid camping trip, they played their own version of Tom Petty’s “Free fallin” around a campfire discovering they had more to share with the universe, beyond their love for each other, good food, cats, and trains.

Daisy reminds Morgan of her mountain childhood, memories, connections, and staying on track; red is Daniel’s favorite color, illustrating courage, drive, determination, and love. The “Revival” part of their name stems from the Lord and believing that, through Him, they were able to find one another, create music, and revive others who listen. They performed at the Luke Bryan Show, summer of 2022 at the Bank of NH Pavilion and continue to tour all around New England. Like the best flower gardens, their soil is deep; their rock is soulful, and their songs carry sunshine, hope, and light. Wherever Red Daisy Revival goes and grows, Morgan and Daniel, together, carry all they need.

Paramount Junction

Paramount Junction is a Nashville based duo consisting of singer-songwriters Rory Scott (New England native) and Alyson Tracy.

Alyson Tracy & Rory Scott are Nashville Songwriters and Award Winning Entertainers. They have been performing as Country Music Artists for many years at both intimate and large venues and have opened for acts including Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker & Riley Green. Collectively they have performed hundreds of live music shows! Boston Country 102.5, one of Country Music’s largest radio stations has featured both Alyson & Rory as the “Catch of the Week” by Carolyn Kruse, aka “Kruser”.

As Songwriters, they are members of BMI, NSAI and Songtown. Alyson & Rory have collectively performed their original Songs at Nashville Venues including The Bluebird Cafe, Tootsie’s, The Commodore, Nashville Palace, Doc Holliday’s, The Row, NashHouse SouthernSpoon, Bobby’s Idle Hour, Sonny’s, Tennessee Brew Works, The Vinyl Lounge, Coco Cafe & Twelve Keys Saloon.
