Maple Sugar Weekend – Mt Kearsarge Indian Museum

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until March 24, 2019

MKIM will provide complimentary tastings of our maple syrup and a sampling of Indian griddle cakes. You will sample the rare treat of “sugar on snow,” in a live demonstration of how indigenous people make maple sugar and learn how to boil sap in the traditional Native way.

Come check out the Museum and see: Indian Griddle Cakes, Maple Syrup on Snow, Cree Bread, Blueberry Wajapi, Discovery Nature Center Demonstrations, Make a Mokuk and much more.

The Museum will be open all day and you will have a chance to visit the museum store. Admission for maple sugaring events is free and Admission to the museum will be $5 per person for a self-guided tour and a look on how we get ready for the upcoming season.
