Experience an evening of exceptional music, delicious food, and fine wine in Hermit Wood Winery’s intimate and relaxed setting, featuring four musicians from the New Hampshire Music Festival as part of their free Music in the Mountains series.

NHMF Music in the Mountains: Brahms & Shostakovich

Join four New Hampshire Music Festival musicians for an evening of wine & music at Hermit Woods Winery as part of NHMF’s free Music in the Mountains series. The program will open with Brahms’ lyrical Sonata No. 1 in G Major performed by violinist Lidija Peno-Kelly and pianist Elizabeth Higgins. Shostakovich’s haunting and rhythmical Piano Trio No. 2 will follow, performed by Peno-Kelly, cellist Tido Janssen, and pianist Stacy Kwak.

This event is free to attend; however, seat reservations and a $10 deposit (+$2.45 service fee if reserving online; otherwise, call Hermit Woods Winery at 603-253-7968), which will be credited toward a food/beverage order, are required. Space is limited to 60 individuals.

A Listening Room Experience

Hermit Woods is excited to bring talented artists from New England and beyond to perform for you. Each performance will provide you with an intimate, up-close, and personal experience with the performing artists. We ask our audience please refrain from talking during the featured show. Your silence will allow the artists and the audience to immerse themselves in the experience, which is not otherwise possible in larger, noisier environments.

The Loft Doors open at 5:00. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy food and wine before the show. The kitchen will close at 6:00 pm. When the featured artists takes the stage we will ask that the audience remain quiet during the performance. After the show, we invite you to interact with the artists and purchase any music or merchandise offerings if available.
