Remick Ramblers: Aquatic Investigations – Remick Farm

April 9, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Did you know some of the invertebrates living in the water can show us how healthy our water is? Help us capture, identify, record, and (of course!) return aquatic invertebrates in an effort to learn about and compare the water health at Remick Farm waterways. Water is vital for our planet, and we can tell a lot about it by looking at what is living there!

The Remick Ramblers are a new, nature-based exploration group designed for children available during traditional school hours. These nature walks are held once a month, from September – June and are designed to engage conversation and encourage experiential learning through a variety of hands-on activities.

$6/participant, ages 6 and over. Chaperones are free unless staying at the museum post-lesson. This is not a drop-off program, so parents and guardians should be prepared to be with the group, and are encouraged to participate! Registration closes April 6/when filled; no walk-ins, please. Space is limited, so register now by calling 603-323-7591.
