Remick Ramblers at Remick Museum & Farm
February 6 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Story of Snow – We love snow at Remick Farm! While we often think about all the fun it is to throw a snowball or go sledding, what about the snow itself? Help us dig into the science of snow! Exciting experiments and activities will let us know how much water is in a pile of snow, different types of snow, and how animals rely on snow during the winter.
The Remick Ramblers are a new, nature-based exploration group designed for children available during traditional school hours. These nature walks are held once a month, from September – June and are designed to engage conversation and encourage experiential learning through a variety of hands-on activities.
$6/participant, ages 6 and over. Chaperones are free unless staying at the museum post-lesson. This is not a drop-off program, so parents and guardians should be prepared to be with the group, and are encouraged to participate! Registration closes February 3/when filled; no walk-ins, please. Space is limited, so register now by calling 603-323-7591.
