Small Farmers Club at Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm

Young children can experience the seasonal rhythms and chores on a historic farmstead. Through age-appropriate activities – including crafts, games, stories and animal meet and greets – participants enjoy season-base activities such as planting, milking, harvesting and wintertime indoor activities.
This month’s theme : “Horses at Work” Before tractors horses did lots of work on a farm. We will read a story about one strong and brave horse who helped with the ice harvest. After a craft, we will go visit Sadie, our miniature horse. Her job is to keep the other animals company. No one is ever too small to help.
Children must be pre-registered/ pre-paid Ages 2-6; $6/child Parent/guardian must accompany their child for the duration of the activity. Children should be dressed to spend time outdoors with appropriate clothing for inclement weather. Registration closes Friday, March 29th – when filled, no walk-ins, please. 603.323.7591
