Do you enjoy snowshoeing and learning about nature? Join naturalist, tracker, and poet, Barbara Bald, on an easy snowshoe trek & track along the trails and fields here at Castle in the Clouds. Spend time trekking in nature, learning the basics of tracking, and enjoying the outcroppings and sights that call to you.

No experience is necessary! Participants are welcome to bring their own snowshoes and poles if they own them and are asked to dress for the weather. Castle in the Clouds will be able to offer adult-sized snowshoes to borrow for this event courtesy of the Moultonborough Recreation Department.

Barbara Bald is a veteran naturalist, poet, and intermediate tracker. She has taught science for over 25 years, is passionate about writing and nature, and loves sharing those passions with others. Barb has written for two NH magazines, won many local writing contests, and published two full-length poetry books and one chapter book.
