Holderness, NH – Take part in an engaging evening discussing the impacts of climate change at the lounge at Walter’s Basin. On Tuesday, October 30 Lindsay Rustad from the USDA Northeast Climate Hub, Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest will speak about Freezing Trees and impacts of ice storms on northern forests. Take a local focus to this global problem in this series featuring different perspectives and scientists. Climate change is affecting the natural world and the animals (including humans) that inhabit the planet in many ways. Scientists will share the story of their perspective followed by the type of lively discussion Science Pubs are known to stimulate. Come with an appetite and questions to become part of an important community conversation. Visit nhnature.org for speaker schedule.
