Squam Snorkel Session with Cole Beale – Adventure Ecology Program
August 23, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Location: Meet at the Squam Lakes Association, 534 US Route 3, Holderness, NH 03245.
Registration: Registration is required. Space is limited to 12 people.
Join us at the Squam Lakes Association for a snorkeling trip to Bennett Cove. As summer starts coming to a close and the days get shorter, hot swimming and snorkeling days are dwindling. While most people enjoy Squam from above, snorkeling provides an opportunity to get below the water and see things from a fish’s perspective. Anyone is welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should dress in waterproof and quick drying clothing, bring sunscreen, towels and bathing suits. It is recommended that you bring your own goggles and snorkel though we do have a few sets for folks to borrow if needed. We will be on the water for a few hours so a packed lunch and water is recommended. This program’s times and dates are subject to change due to conditions and weather the day of.
What to Bring: Weather appropriate clothing (water-proof/quick drying materials), own snorkel, goggles and fins, sunscreen, towels, bathing suit, sun hat, lunch, and water.
Audience: All are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
