Sunset Ski on Squam Lake with the SLA
February 26, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Join us on the evening of Wednesday, February 26th for a relaxing ski out on Squam Lake to feast our eyes on the (hopefully) brilliant sunset. We will meet at 4:00pm and start skiing from the Chamberlin Reynolds Memorial Forest (West parking lot) and then head out onto the ice to ski around Great Island and enjoy the evening before skiing back by the light of our headlamps. We aim to return to the parking lot by 6:30pm. If conditions seem unfavorable to go out on the ice, we will stay in the forest and enjoy the assortment of wonderful trails found there.
Participants must bring their own cross country skis and gear. All skill levels are welcome! Please bring lots of warm layers, water, something to drink, and a headlamp or flashlight.
