A monthly music series where audience members can enjoy talented singer-songwriters from the New England Area in the Lakes Region’s premier listening room. Enjoy songs and stories from host Katie Dobbins and her guests Heather Pierson, & Lucas Gallo as they perform acoustically in-the-round.

Katie Dobbins

Award-winning New Hampshire singer-songwriter Katie Dobbins creates honest, soul-stirring music that brings light to the darkness. A gifted storyteller with the heart of a poet, her songs explore life, faith, and relationships with warmth, depth, and quiet strength—inviting listeners to both reflect and feel. Her album There Is Light earned Album of the Year at the 2021 Limelight Music Awards, and her music has been featured on prominent radio stations including The River and Boston’s Hottest Country. Host Carolyn Kruse praises her sound as “sweet but bold,” noting that Katie’s voice is “reminiscent of one of her heroes, Jewel—but only deeper… a fearless spirit with a gentle touch.”

Katie has been recognized as Best Solo Act at the Best of Lakes Region Awards for three consecutive years and has received six New England Music Award nominations, most recently for Performer of the Year (2025). Deeply committed to celebrating original music and fostering community, she is an active presence in the New England music scene both on and off the stage. Her latest single, Our Love Is Like Snow, is a hopeful love song that compares lasting love to the magic of the first snowfall — pure, timeless, and full of wonder. With vivid winter imagery and tender emotion, the song celebrates a love that never fades, evoking the childlike joy of running into the snow and the enduring warmth that keeps it alive through every season.

Heather Pierson

Heather Pierson is a singer/songwriter, pianist, songleader, and performer with a passion for cultivating joy and harmony. Her live performances feature her ease at the piano and her voice that Americana Highways says ‘sounds like timeless wind moving slowly through the trees.’ Heather’s September 2024 release, Back To The Light, reached #1 on the Contemporary Folk charts and was deemed ‘flawless from beginning to end’ by Steel Notes Magazine. Heather takes as her inspiration the traditions of New Orleans, the beauty of Appalachia, and a healthy dose of Sunday-go-to-meeting celebration. Lucas Gallo

Hailing from New Hampshire, Lucas Gallo is an original singer/songwriter that has been strumming strings and singing songs from the depths of dive bars to the bowels of brewery rooms and from the fields of festivals to the steps of stages combining a love of the acoustic guitar with a love of rhythmic words. Gallo is influenced by songwriters from Dylan and Young to Sexton and Montbleau, and everything in between.
