Wildcrafting: Herbal Tea – Castle in the Clouds, Moultonborough NH
Unlock the potential of the world of wild herbs by tapping into ancient roots! Join instructor Mj Pettengill, who will introduce you to helpful tools, guides, and apps for plant identification, ensuring you can safely navigate the wild. Familiarity with local flora is essential, as it helps you avoid dangerous look-alikes. Additionally, we’ll discuss endangered, threatened, or sensitive species, highlighting the importance of responsible foraging. Throughout our exploration, we’ll cover essential topics: plant preparation, drying, storage, crushing, and the decision-making process of when to use fresh versus dried herbs.
Doing this presentation, you will have an opportunity to sample different herbal teas.
Space is limited to 20 people in order to give Mj a chance to work with all the participants.
