SUMMARY:Last Week of the Season(New Trail)- Highland Mountain Bike Park\, Northfield NH
DESCRIPTION:*Open 9:00am to 4:00pm on Tuesday\, November 11 for Veterans Day \nThursday & Friday\n10:00am to 4:00pm \nSaturday & Sunday\n9:00am to 4:00pm \nNEW TRAIL ALERT! \nEbb & Flow is officially open for riding. \nYou’ve seen the build creeping down the hill… and now it’s time to get first tracks. The first section of Ebb & Flow is ready to ride and open for laps! \nOur trail crew is absolutely crushing it. The first 5 turns are stacked\, packed\, and running great. This is a partial soft open—please note the full trail is still under construction. For everyone’s safety\, only ride the section that is currently open and ready. The temporary exit will merge onto the dirt pipe access trail heading into Central Park. \nCome check it out\, get some laps in\, and help shape the line—more tires = better flow. Literally. \nA special note on the name: \n\nEbb & Flow is named as a tribute to the late freeride legend Kyle Ebbett. Kyle had a big hand in Highland’s roots — helping design and build the original slalom course and the dirt pipe in this zone. He even announced multiple Claymore Challenges and helped move the sport forward in ways most riders today don’t even realize. Naming credit for this trail goes to longtime Highland customer Jimmy Ponte\, honoring Kyle in the place where so much of his influence lived.  \nWe’re heading into the final stretch of the season — and it feels right to open this one now. New lines. New energy. Big roots of Highland history.  \nCome ride Ebb & Flow while the season’s still rolling! \nHighland Mountain Bike Park / 75 Ski Hill Dr. / Northfield NH

SUMMARY:Pottery Artist Michael Gibbons - League of NH Craftsmen - Meredith Fine Craft Gallery\, Meredith NH
DESCRIPTION:The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen\, Meredith Fine Craft\nGallery is delighted to present the beauty of autumn into winter captured by juried-in pottery\nartist Michael Gibbons. Michael’s handcrafted stoneware evokes the quiet transition from\nautumn to winter through rich\, natural tones and evocative glaze work.\nEach piece is crafted from brown stoneware clay\, offering a grounded\, organic base that\ncomplements the artist’s signature palette of blue\, slate and rust glazes and colored slips. These\nearthy and atmospheric hues capture the essence of mountain sunsets\, shifting skies\, and the soft\nlandscapes of the changing seasons.\nFrom subtle\, abstract impressions of fall foliage and dusky horizons with beautiful sunsets to the\ncool serenity of snow-dusted peaks and early winter light\, Michael’s pottery tells a story of\nnature’s rhythm and beauty. The work combines both functional and decorative elements with\neach mug\, bowl\, syrup pitcher and wall-plaque a one-of-a-kind reflection of the artist’s\nconnection to the landscape and its ever-changing colors. Other vessels of function and beauty\ndepicting the mountains of New Hampshire include utensil holders\, ramen and rice bowls\, log\nbutter dishes and sponge holders.\nThe Meredith Fine Craft Gallery invites you to come in and see Michael Gibbons’ work and\nexperience the feeling of standing outdoors as the air changes and the light deepens. For more\ninformation\, please call the Gallery at 603-279-7920 or visit our website meredith.nhcrafts.org.\nThe League of NH Craftsmen Gallery is located at 279 DW Hwy. Meredith\, NH. Gallery is open \nMonday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 12Noon-5pm.\nThe League of NH Craftsmen is a non-profit organization that encourages and promotes the\ncreation\, use and preservation of fine contemporary and traditional hand crafts. The League\nrepresents the signature of excellence in fine craft\, through the work of its juried members and its\nrigorous standards for self-expression\, vision\, and quality craftsmanship. \n
