Today campers will uncover\nand explore the signs of spring all around them—budding trees\, returning birds\,\nblooming flowers\, and buzzing insects. Through outdoor exploration\, scavenger\nhunts\, art projects\, and up-close encounters with our animals\, campers will learn\nhow plants and animals change with the seasons and discover the exciting clues\nthat spring has arrived.\nCost: $75/member; $84/nonmember \nTuesday\, April 28 \nAnimals on the Move\, 9:30am – 3:30pm\, Ages 7 – 10\nAs the days grow longer and warmer\, animals begin to stir and return. Today\,\ncampers will learn about animals that migrate back in the spring and those that\nwake up from winter rest. Through up-close to animal encounters\, nature\nexploration\, and creative activities\, campers will discover why animals migrate\,\nwhen they wake up\, and what clues tell us they’re back. Campers will build\nobservation skills while celebrating the exciting return of wildlife in spring!\nCost: $75/member; $84/nonmember \nWednesday\, April 29 \nSpring Art\, 9:30am – 3:30pm\, Ages 7 – 10 \nSpring is full of color\, texture\, and inspiration! During this camp day\, campers will\ncreate spring-themed art both indoors and outdoors\, using the natural world as their\nmuse. From painting flowers and blossoming trees to experimenting with nature\nprints and outdoor sketching\, campers will explore a variety of materials and\ntechniques. This day encourages creativity\, self-expression\, and a hands-on\nconnection to the sights and feelings of spring—rain or shine. We’ll also meet an\nanimal guest to help inspire some of our art.\nCost: $75/member; $84/nonmember \nAftercare Available \nEach day\, aftercare will be available until 4:30pm. You can sign your child/children\nup for aftercare when you register for camp. Please note that we will not have\naftercare if fewer than 3 children are signed up\, and we will notify families at least \none week before.\nCost: $13/day per child\nThursday\, April 30 \nSpringtime Bug Safari\, 9:30am – 3:30pm\, Ages 7 – 10 \nGrab your magnifying glasses and get ready to explore! Campers will become insect\nadventurers as they head outdoors to discover the tiny creatures that make spring\nbuzz\, crawl\, and flutter to life. Campers will search for insects on guided “bug\nsafaris\,” learn how to gently observe and release them\, and create insect inspired\nart. Today is all helping kids see that even the smallest creatures can lead to big\nadventures and have big impacts.\nCost: $75/member; $84/nonmember \nRegistering for all four days? \nIf you are registering your child/children for all four days of camp\, \nyou will receive a small discount! \nScholarships Available \nWe have a small scholarship fund avaiable for this week of camp.
