Ranking as one of the resort’s most popular adventures\, Gunstock’s mountain coaster carries riders uphill through the forest before letting gravity take charge. The downhill track curves\, banks and loops its way down the mountain\, winding through the trees. Riders can easily control their own speed as each cart is equipped with its own braking system\, allowing guests to choose between a gentle cruise or thrilling race down the mountain at speeds up to 25 miles per hour. Coaster carts can be ridden by a solo driver or with an additional passenger. \nFor guests looking for an adrenaline rush\, Gunstock’s Zipline Tours and Aerial Treetop Adventure course take adventure to new heights. Visitors soar from peak to peak\, and peak to base\, on the 90-minute ZipTour experience. Measuring a total of 1.6 miles\, Gunstock offers one of the longest zipline networks in the continental United States. Tours are guided and guests can control their own speed\, reaching a maximum of 70 miles per hour. \nEight high-ropes courses consisting of 81 challenge features make up Gunstock’s Aerial Treetop Adventure course. DESCRIPTION:Gunstock Mountain Resort’s award-winning Adventure Park is now open through August 30\, 2026 Thursday-Sunday 10am-4pm. Weekends only Saturday and Sunday through November 1\, 2026. Gunstock’s Adventure Park includes a mountain coaster\, zipline tours\, an aerial treetop challenge course\, and later in the summer\, scenic chairlift rides on the Panorama lift. Gunstock’s 262-Site Campground will operate daily from May 22 through October 18. \n\n\n\nBOOK YOUR STAY\n\n\n\n“People who are only familiar with Gunstock as a destination for winter sports are often surprised to discover we’re a hot spot for summer camping and adventure too\,” said Gunstock President and General Manager Robert Drake. “Locals and visitors to the Lakes Region love the range of activities and events we offer in the summer.” \nThe Gunstock Adventure Park offers its visitors a variety of thrilling fun. Ranking as one of the resort’s most popular adventures\, Gunstock’s mountain coaster carries riders uphill through the forest before letting gravity take charge. The downhill track curves\, banks and loops its way down the mountain\, winding through the trees. Riders can easily control their own speed as each cart is equipped with its own braking system\, allowing guests to choose between a gentle cruise or thrilling race down the mountain at speeds up to 25 miles per hour. Coaster carts can be ridden by a solo driver or with an additional passenger. \nFor guests looking for an adrenaline rush\, Gunstock’s Zipline Tours and Aerial Treetop Adventure course take adventure to new heights. Visitors soar from peak to peak\, and peak to base\, on the 90-minute ZipTour experience. Measuring a total of 1.6 miles\, Gunstock offers one of the longest zipline networks in the continental United States. Tours are guided and guests can control their own speed\, reaching a maximum of 70 miles per hour. \nEight high-ropes courses consisting of 81 challenge features make up Gunstock’s Aerial Treetop Adventure course. Suspended within the trees\, guests will explore a bird’s-eye view of the mountain while tackling features like log ladders\, bridges\, swings\, seesaws\, and ziplines. Each course increases in difficulty and height as visitors advance. There’s even an Explorer Course\, perfect for children ages 6-11. \nScenic Chairlift Rides are another popular choice of adventure\, offering a relaxed\, seated ride to the summit where guests are met with sweeping views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains beyond. Scenic Chairlift Rides are anticipated to open Independence Day Weekend\, following upgrades being performed on the Panorama chairlift. \nWhen searching for refreshment between adventures\, guests will find slopeside dining at Barrel Bar & Grille\, located within the Stockade Lodge. On a clear day\, Mount Washington\, 50 miles away as the crow flies\, can be seen rising among the Presidential Range. Explore hiking trails or pack a picnic lunch to be enjoyed at the summit. The chairlift runs continually to take you back to the base area at your convenience.\nWe also offer one-way scenic chairlift ride tickets for those who would prefer to hike up and ride down\, or ride up and hike down. This hands-on program helps kids connect garden ingredients with simple cooking techniques while building kitchen confidence. \nJuly 31st 2026: Making Homemade Pasta\nJoin us as we explore the garden\, harvest fresh herbs\, and use them to make a flavorful pesto for topping our homemade pasta! Kids will mix\, roll out\, cut\, and cook ribbon shaped pasta and then enjoy eating their garden-inspired creation. \nAugust 7th 2026: Making French-Style Potato-Salad\nJoin us as we explore the garden\, harvest fresh herbs and potatoes. We’ll make a light vinaigrette dressing for our potatoes and herbs\, and combine them all to make a delicious and nutritious potato salad. \nAugust 14th 2026: Summer Garden Sauté\nJoin us as we explore the garden\, harvest fresh herbs and produce\, then learn how to chop\, season\, and make a simple sauté together. Along the way\, we’ll discover how fresh ingredients and basic cooking skills turn garden harvests into a delicious meal. \nAugust 21st 2026: Making Sourdough Popovers\nJoin us as we explore the garden and harvest fresh herbs. Participants will mix and bake homemade sourdough popovers flavored with the herbs they gathered.
