DESCRIPTION:July 21\, 2026 • 8:45 am – 1:00 pm\n Rattlesnake Island Preserve\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 11\, 2026 • 8:45 am – 1:00 pm\n Rattlesnake Island Preserve\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLace up your hiking boots for this 2-mile hike along the rocky ridge of Rattlesnake Island Preserve led by LRCT’s AmeriCorps members. \nLRCT Volunteers will transport participants by boat out of Alton to the Rattlesnake Island Preserve dock. We will then embark on the roughly 2-mile round-trip hike\, taking in the island’s beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding landscape. The hike is rated moderate to strenuous. \nPlease note that due to our limited dock space\, all participants are required to join our boat ride over to the island. Participants will need to stay with the group for the duration of this excursion due to the location. \nRegistration: Registration is required for this event. Please complete our Google Form by clicking the “Sign Up” button below. \nJuly 21\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSign Up!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 11\, 2026\nSign Up!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe ask that if you sign up\, please plan on attending the full length of the event. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your cruise departure time. Everyone must make advance reservations and payment. We do not hold seats or maintain waiting lists. \nCancellations: \nCruises may be cancelled if there are fewer than four passengers registered.
