The City on the Lakes Holiday Walk is in it’s fifth year of sharing the holiday spirit with our community. Celebrate Laconia has teamed up with Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm to sell trees to individuals\, organizations\, businesses\, and families to decorate in Rotary and Stewart Parks in downtown Laconia. Trees are on display for everyone in the community to enjoy throughout the holiday season! ​ \nSponsor a Tree: $65 for a tree with lights to decorate.  Payments may be made by check or by credit card online.​ \nHow it works: Individuals\, families\, or businesses sponsor a tree that will be set up and lit in Rotary and Stewart park by November 22\, 2025. All you have to do is show your Laconia holiday spirit by decorating your tree with family\, friends\, or co-workers prior to the Holiday Parade on November 29\, 2025. Please place decorations securely on trees – if not secured they may detach due to weather.​ \nLights Festival\, Parade\, and Lighting Ceremony: November 29\, 2025 from 9:00am – 8:00pm come out and enjoy walking through the trees and watching the Holiday Parade.  The parade will start at 5:00pm and Santa will light trees at the end of the Parade.​ \nSponsor a tree and pay online using the form below. We invite you to join us at the reception\, refreshments will be served and all are welcome. \nGallery Open Daily 10-5pm. \nJanet Kent Cocchiaro has lived in Holderness\, New Hampshire for over twenty-five years.  Her inspiration comes from the beautiful natural world around her\, especially her garden\, the fields and woods near her house and White Oak Pond.  She is fascinated with the constantly changing colors\, textures and light both on and near the pond.  Her first medium was printing with foam plates\, but she has been experimenting with acrylics\, water color crayons\, soft pastels\, and collage. \nChloe Springis is a painter living in Plymouth\, NH. Her work comes from a very humble and selfish act of looking inward. Her paintings are a momentary reflection on memories she feels to be important. Her paintings seek to portray a whimsical\, feminine\, dream space\, reminiscent of dead shadows gone by and fleeting moments of sheer gratitude. \nMarguerite Bride is a watercolorist who has been painting for about 30 years. Her images include intricate cityscapes\, landscapes\, house and business portraits\, historic scenes\, and so much more. A true New Englander\, she is particularly fond of painting snowy winter scenes. Her style is realistic but “painterly”. Her paintings include traditional watercolor on paper and also on canvas\, which provides a very different look and feel. Marguarite moved last May from the Berkshires in western MA to Plymouth\, NH. \nAvia Robinson is a high school student based in Southwick\, Massachusetts\, with a passion for both art and the environment. Avia spends much of her year in Rumney\, New Hampshire\, in her family’s seasonal cottage. During her time there\, she’s discovered the wonders of local wildlife\, which are now often depicted in much of her art.
