DESCRIPTION:Do you want to build your own model yacht and race them with Back Bay Skippers? If so\, the Back Bay Skippers run a model yacht building workshop in the summer! The week long workshop runs the second week of July at the New Hampshire Boat Museum. Space is limited so sign up early! \nBuild a radio controlled model yacht with the guidance of the Back Bay Skippers! Class runs Monday\, July 8th to Friday July 12\, 2024 from 9am -3pm. For more information and to register: https://www.nhbm.org/model-yachting/model-yacht-building/ \nDuring this weeklong workshop\, you will learn how to construct your model sailboat in a friendly\, stress-free\, and fun environment. Our expert boat builders will guide you each step of the way. No experience with woodworking tools is necessary. Students ages 10-14 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. \nThe model kit for the 2024 workshop is the Soling 1 Meter Yacht. The Back Bay Skippers will supply all the parts you need including the sails. Please note that paint and radio kits are not included with the kit.
