SUMMARY:Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon 50 Years - McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center\, Concord NH
DESCRIPTION:Pink Floyd’s iconic album ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’\, originally released in March 1973\, turns 50\, and what more fitting a place to celebrate it and experience it than in a Planetarium\, through the music set to visuals. With the help of modern technology\, the idea of a show combining breath-taking views of the solar system and beyond\, played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side Of The Moon in surround sound\, has been embraced by the band. NSC Creative have led the visual production efforts\, working closely with Pink Floyd’s long time creative collaborator Aubrey Powell from Hipgnosis. Each song has a different theme; some futuristically looking forward and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history\, all relating to a time and space experience\, embracing up to the minute technology that only a Planetarium can offer. A truly immersive and all-encompassing surround sound and visual treat that will transcend reality and take you way beyond the realms of 2D experience.\nAll Music Under the Dome programs are intended for audiences 18+. May contain explicit language.\nDiscovery Center will open 30 minutes before the start of the show and will close 30 minutes after the end of the show. Please note for safety reasons there is no late entry into the Planetarium once the doors are closed. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the show start time.\nThis program may not be suitable for individuals who experience certain conditions including motion sickness\, epilepsy\, and more due to the nature of the immersive visuals\, sounds\, and effects used in the experience. The program may include flashing lights\, rapidly changing visuals\, or strobe effects\, which could potentially trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy or those sensitive to flashing lights.\nFor tickets go to: 26925.blackbaudhosting.com/26925/tickets\nMcAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center /2 Institute Dr. / Concord NH

SUMMARY:Corn Mazes 2025 - Moulton Farm\, Meredith NH
DESCRIPTION:Getting lost at Moulton Farm in Meredith will be twice the fun for families this year.  In addition to the full sized\, four acre corn maze\, the farm has created a child sized maze for younger children to enjoy.    \n“In our full size maze\, the corn towers over adults\,” says Wes Thomas\, who has designed the farm’s corn maze for 18 years. “The children’s maze is much smaller\, and the corn is only about 3 feet high.  This makes it easy for adults to see where their kids are and less disorienting for the kids.”  \nThat’s not true of the farm’s full sized maze. “I design our mazes to get people lost\, but this one? It’s really going to get people lost\,” says Thomas with a huge smile.  \nThomas used the farm’s name and cornucopia logo as inspiration for the maze.  “It’s got curves\, dead ends\, will have you turning in circles\, and getting thoroughly confused about what direction to go\,” warns Thomas. “But there’s more to the design than that.”  \n“For all of us who work at the farm\, our logo is far more than just a sign at the end of Quarry Road and what we wear on our shirts\,” explains Thomas who has worked at Moulton Farm since he was in high school.  “It’s the symbol of all of us working together to grow great tasting food and provide good customer service to the people who visit and support our farm. Every professional sports team has a logo they are proud of.  We are a team here at Moulton Farm\, and I felt that using our logo as this year’s corn maze design would give us all something to be proud of.”  \nBoth of Moulton Farm’s corn mazes open September 19. Visitors can also enjoy pumpkin hunting\, either in the farm’s “pick your own” pumpkin patch or from among the many pre-picked pumpkins grown at the farm\, and there are other reasons to visit.   \nWagon rides will be on most weekends and are free. Live music is also happening most Saturdays and Sundays. Fall displays\, games\, and goats will make for good pictures\, and the farm’s garden center will feature items to use for decorating.   \nFood featuring produce grown at the farm will be available from Moulton’s Hay Wagon\, the farm’s food truck on weekends. Other classic fall favorites will be available at the Cider Bellies Doughnut stand and at the farm’s market\, including apple crisp\, freshly baked pies\, and whoopie pies in several flavors made in the farm’s kitchen and bakery.  \nMoulton Farm’s corn maze will be open 7 days a week starting at 8 am from September 19 through November 2. The last admission to the maze is one hour before the farm closes. Admission to both mazes is included in the cost of the corn maze tickets.  Tickets cost $12 per person with a special $6 rate for each child between 6 years and 3 years of age. Children under 3 years old are free.    \nMore information is available at MoultonFarm.com   \nMoulton Farm is located at 18 Quarry Road off Route 25 in Meredith and is open seven days a week.
