SUMMARY:The Beat Goes On - Featuring Lisa McClowry as Cher - The Flying Monkey\, Plymouth NH
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets \n $48.65 – $59.65\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMay 29\, 2026 7:30 PM\nDoors Open: 6:00 PM\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Beat Goes On is a theatrical concert experience where live music\, storytelling\, and audience connection come together in a powerful celebration of perseverance\, reinvention\, and joy. \nCreated and performed by award-winning singer and actress Lisa McClowry\, the show is told in the first person and guided by Cher’s extraordinary life and legacy. Backed by a four-piece band with over 20 years of shared performance history\, the production delivers both musical authenticity and emotional depth. \nThrough iconic songs\, dynamic costume changes\, and dramatic video elements\, audiences are taken on a journey across six decades—from Cher’s early rise to her fearless reinventions. At the heart of the show are “Bonding Moments\,” where the fourth wall disappears and McClowry steps into the audience\, inviting connection\, participation\, and shared celebration. \nAudience favorites include an onstage moment honoring Sonny & Cher with I Got You Babe\, and a powerful female empowerment segment that begins with Shoop Shoop (It’s In His Kiss) and builds into the anthem Woman’s World\, transforming the theater into a collective celebration of confidence and strength. \nMore than a tribute\, The Beat Goes On is an interpretation—capturing Cher’s spirit\, resilience\, and enduring connection with her audience. The result is a joyful\, immersive experience that reminds us all: no matter what\, the beat goes on. \n__________ \nSEATS\nThis event offers assigned seating at theatre-style and table seats on our main floor.\n\nFOOD & BEVERAGES\nDoors open early for dinner and drinks. Guests can enjoy food and beverages by ordering at one of our two concession counters in the lobby. Tickets do not include a meal and menus are available online at flyingmonkeynh.com.\n\n\nThe Flying Monkey\n\n39 Main Street\nPlymouth\, NH\n6035362551
