The “library” is simply a set of wines that are no longer available for public tasting. They are only available for sale. \nMark will take you for a brief walk through the cellar\, then bring you into the Birch Room (private room off the main tasting room) for a sampling of 4 (predetermined) wines from the library rack. This one-on-one experience with Mark is very educational as much as it is entertaining. It is a great opportunity to ask all of those burning wine questions and to sample legacy Seven Birches Wines that the general public does not get to try. \n\nBrief walk through the wine cellar to see the equipment and activity of the day.\nOne-on-one (small group) time with Mark\, the founding winemaker of Seven Birches Winery.\nSample 4 wines from the “Library” – a set of wines off-limits to the general public.\nWine tasting and grape variety education.\nOpportunity to purchase library wines at a 10% discount.\n\n\nDo you enjoy wine tasting at wineries\, but always find yourself looking for something a bit deeper\, a bit more educational\, that includes off-menu wines? This experience is for you. \nThe Seven Birches Winery tasting room\, and the experience offered there is an award-winning\, and highly rated experience\, open to the public. However\, many customers want a little bit more. They are searching for unique experiences that will linger in their memories for a lifetime. \nFounding winemaker\, Mark LaClair\, has spent his entire career creating experiences for people\, whether through the wines he crafted\, events that he produced\, or simply tasting experiences in the Seven Birches Winery tasting room. Now\, Mark has agreed to open his schedule for some direct\, one-on-one time. His wine knowledge\, presentation style\, and charismatic personality is what the tasting room is modeled after. He wanted everyone to experience wine with friends and family\, and to learn a little something along the way. Now you can experience all of this directly with him and in a way that elevates the wine tasting experience as a whole. \nThe fee you are paying for this experience certainly covers the cost of the wine tasting. However\, trails are not mechanically groomed for cross-country skiing. It is entirely a “make your own tracks” or backcountry Nordic skiing experience. If you love uncrowded\, pristine snow\, this is a gem.\n\n \n\n\n\nFree and Open to the Public: The grounds and trails are open year-round from dawn to dusk at no charge. You can easily park and head right out into the fields.\n\n \n\n\n\nTrail Layout: Popular winter loops include the short\, family-friendly Turning Mill Pond Loop (about 1.7 miles) and the Carding Mill Trail. Both options take you past scenic historic stone dams\, frozen ponds\, and snow-laden woods.\n\n \n\n\n\nNo On-Site Rentals: There are no ski or snowshoe rentals available at the property. The site features nearly 700 acres of protected forests\, open pastures\, and scenic mill ponds under permanent conservation easement\, offering an incredibly peaceful and historic backdrop for winter recreation.\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect on the Trails\n \n\n\n\n\nUngroomed Trails: The village provides 4  miles of nature trails. However\, trails are not mechanically groomed for cross-country skiing. It is entirely a “make your own tracks” or backcountry Nordic skiing experience. If you love uncrowded\, pristine snow\, this is a gem.\n\n \n\n\n\nFree and Open to the Public: The grounds and trails are open year-round from dawn to dusk at no charge. You can easily park and head right out into the fields.\n\n \n\n\n\nTrail Layout: Popular winter loops include the short\, family-friendly Turning Mill Pond Loop (about 1.7 miles) and the Carding Mill Trail. Both options take you past scenic historic stone dams\, frozen ponds\, and snow-laden woods.\n\n \n\n\n\nNo On-Site Rentals: There are no ski or snowshoe rentals available at the property.
