DESCRIPTION:Join artist Kathy Marx at the Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Thursday\, July 18th 10:30 – 2:30 and Friday\, July 19th 10:30 to 12:30 for a two day Paper Mache Loon Class.\nIn this two day workshop students will learn the basics of working with paper mache to create their own charming loon figure. On the first day students will construct the body of the loon using wire armature and paper mache. On the second day of class\, student will learn to paint and finish their loon. Artist Kathy Marx will guide you through the entire process from start to finish\, no experience is necessary! The finished loon will measure approximately 7 inches long.\nStudents should bring a small hair dryer\, all other materials will be provided.\nTuition is $65 per student with an additional materials fee of $10 paid by cash or check to the instructor at the time of the class.\nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required.
