SUMMARY:Rug Hooking for Novice & Beginners with Pam Bartlett A 5 Week Course\, Every Thursday from September 19th to October 17th -Morning & Evening Classes
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Pam Bartlett at her studio in Loudon\, NH for 5 Thursdays beginning on Thursday\, September 19th\, 2024 and ending on Thursday\, October 17th for a Rug Hooking for Novice & Beginners Class. This class is being offered in 2 time slots\, a daytime class from 10am – 12pm\, or an evening class from 6pm – 8pm for 5 Thursdays in a row. \nJoin us to learn rug hooking\, a traditional New England fiber art that beautifully combines artistic expression and function. In this course\, students will learn the core skills of rug hooking and make a 14”x14” piece. With the skills learned in this course\, students would be able to progress to pieces involving more complex designs and color shading in the future. Use your finished piece as a wall hanging\, pillow\, or chair pad! The workshop fee includes a kit with a pattern\, material\, and a rug hook. \nStudents must bring: A small pair of scissors and a 12” quilting hoop. All other materials are supplied by the instructor. \nTuition is $155 per student and there is no materials fee.  \nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required. \nThose who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Monday\, September 16th. \nTo register for this workshop call the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery at (603) 279-7920 or visit the Gallery at 279 Daniel Webster Highway in Meredith. \nClass will be held at Pam Bartlett’s studio in Loudon NH.
