Maps are available at the kiosk under the breezeway adjacent to the parking area. The site features nearly 700 acres of protected forests\, open pastures\, and scenic mill ponds under permanent conservation easement\, offering an incredibly peaceful and historic backdrop for winter recreation.\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect on the Trails\n \n\n\n\n\nUngroomed Trails: The village provides 4  miles of nature trails. However\, trails are not mechanically groomed for cross-country skiing. It is entirely a “make your own tracks” or backcountry Nordic skiing experience. If you love uncrowded\, pristine snow\, this is a gem.\n\n \n\n\n\nFree and Open to the Public: The grounds and trails are open year-round from dawn to dusk at no charge. You can easily park and head right out into the fields.\n\n \n\n\n\nTrail Layout: Popular winter loops include the short\, family-friendly Turning Mill Pond Loop (about 1.7 miles) and the Carding Mill Trail. Both options take you past scenic historic stone dams\, frozen ponds\, and snow-laden woods.\n\n \n\n\n\nNo On-Site Rentals: There are no ski or snowshoe rentals available at the property.
