Snowmobile in the Lakes Region of NH!

Snowmobile hotspots, trails and information in the NH Lakes Region

There are over 1.2 million registered snowmobiles in the US according to the ISMA (International Snowmobile Manufactures Association). Avid snowmobilers enjoy this winter sport by touring through trails and terrain that many never get to see.  If you are an avid snowmobiler or just someone trying to get into the sport of snowmobiling, New Hampshire caters to snowmobiling enthusiasts of all levels of expertise with rental dealers, hotels, cabins and casual restaurants situated right along major snowmobile routes. The beauty of New Hampshire’s remote hillsides and frozen lakes are the perfect destination for this unique experience.

There are more than seven thousand miles of snowmobiling trails throughout the region that are maintained by volunteers and snowmobile clubs who dedicate their time to cleaning up trails, building bridges, placing signs and grooming the trails among other tasks.  And, the Lakes Region Tourism Association reports that many of their 400 members specifically gear up to welcome and invite snowmobile enthusiasts to the region with lodging packages and destination treats.

If you are looking for trails in New Hampshire, click on the map below or at This map will show you where the snowmobile dealers are, the lodging and restaurants and the clubs.
