SUMMARY:Gunstock Mountain Resort\, Gilford NH
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n3/16-4/4\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClosing Day Saturday\, April 4\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n9am-4pm  Friday Sat. & Sun 8am-4pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWinter 2026-2027 Season Passes \nCLOSING DAY MOVED TO \nSATURDAY\, APRIL 4\, 2026 \nWell folks\, we’ve had an all-time run this winter but Mother Nature still wanted the final say on the season! Due to what’s forecasted to be a pretty soggy Sunday this weekend\, we’ve made the difficult decision to bump up our final day of the season to Saturday\, April 4. How does the quote go? “Ski areas make plans and Mother Nature laughs\,” or something like that. Lifts will spin Saturday from 8 a.m. to last chair of the season at 4 p.m. \nDon’t let Sunday’s rain dampen your vibe! We’re still celebrating the close of an unforgettable season on Saturday with pond skim\, a beer garden\, barbeque\, live music\, and an Easter egg scavenger hunt across the mountain. Pond skim registration is sold out but you can never have too many people in the splash zone! The fun kicks off at noon. Show off your weird\, wacky\, and wild costumes and join us as we send this season off with a splash! \nAligning with typical early December openings and early April closings for New England resorts\, though actual dates depend on snow conditions\, with nightly skiing starting mid-December and ending mid-March.  \nTo Buy tickets go to: https://estore.gunstock.com/ \nKey Dates & Info:\nKey Things to Remember:\n\nCheck First: Hours change with the season (early\, mid\, late) and snow conditions\, so visit www.gunstock.com/winter/snow-report/.\nNight Skiing: Starts mid-December and runs through mid-March\, typically Tuesday through Saturday evenings.\nTicket Office Hours: The ticket office often has different\, sometimes longer\, hours than the lifts. \n\nTubing has closed for the season as of 3/15/26 \nIt doesn’t get more fun in New Hampshire than snow tubing at Gunstock Mountain! You step into a provided tube\, sit back\, and let gravity do the rest. The wide\, multi-lane hill lets you race friends or glide side by side\, laughing the whole way down. When your run ends\, a magic carpet lift carries you back uphill\, so there’s no walking and no waiting long between rides. The lanes are smooth and fast\, built just for tubing\, which means more runs in less time. You can even tube under the lights at night\, turning it into a great evening outing. Beyond tubing\, Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford\, NH also offers skiing\, snowboarding\, snowshoeing\, Nordic skiing\, and skijoring during winter. \n \n\nLet the dogs out this winter at Gunstock!\n\n\nBook a skijoring lesson with your pup this winter at the Gunstock Nordic Center and enjoy the snow in a whole new way. Our trail network is dog-friendly\, and the Nordic Center is equipped with the gear rentals and knowledgeable staff you need to get started.\n\n\nVisit the Gunstock Nordic Center\, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily\, to hit the trails with your canine companion this winter.\n\n\nGunstock Mountain Resort / 719 Cherry Valley Rd. / Gilford NH

Here’s a full breakdown of what you need to know before you buy and why it might be the best investment you make this year.\n\nWhat to Have Ready When You Purchase\nBuying your Stash Pass is straightforward\, but there are a few things to have on hand. You’ll need a photo for each pass holder in your purchase\, and you’ll be asked to sign the Skier/Rider Agreement Waiver at the time of purchase. Anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf.\nIf you’re a first-time season pass buyer\, note that a one-time $5 card fee applies to all new season purchases. Already have your RFID card from a previous season? Great\, renewing pass holders can use their original card. Just keep in mind that season passes are non-transferable and non-refundable\, and a $49 fee applies for any lost or replaced pass.\n\nWhat the Stash Pass Gets You\nThe headline perk is simple: ski or ride every single day Ragged Mountain is open during the 2026+27 Winter Season. SUMMARY:MKIM is Open all Winter Long & Artifact of the Month - Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum\, Warner NH
DESCRIPTION:Looking for someplace to escape the cold? It may be freezing outside\, but it’s nice and toasty inside MKIM! \nWe’ll be open Fridays and Saturdays all winter long\, where you’ll always be greeted with a fun\, educational experience\, and a smile or two. \nCome join us! \nPlease Note: If it is snowing during a day we are supposed to be open\, please call the museum or check our Facebook to make sure we have not closed due to inclement weather. Thank you. \nARTIFACT OF THE MONTH \nFitting with the snow we’ve been getting\, January’s Artifact of the Month is this pair of northeastern Canadian-style snowshoes. This pair was made in the 1930s\, consisting of a wooden frame with netting\, cord\, and thongs made from animal hide. This particular shape of snowshoe is referred to as “bearpaw” because of its wide\, almost circular shape that is perfect for hiking through dense woods or rocky areas. View these along with other snowshoes on display in MKIM’s Northeast gallery! \n \nMt. Kearsarge Indian Museum / 18 Highlawn Rd. / Warner NH \n603-456-2600

SUMMARY:Party Animals Exhibit - McLane Center NH Audubon\, Concord NH
DESCRIPTION:Party Animals by Bethany Clarke \nThis exhibit runs at the McLane Center in Concord from March 11-May 2\, 2026. Join us in celebrating this exhibit with the artist on March 13 from 4-6pm at the McLane Center! \nDescription: Handprinted linocuts featuring an array of native New Hampshire plants and animals. The images are all initially sketched by hand and then transferred onto linoleum blocks. They are then carved with a blade. For printing\, the blocks are rolled with ink\, and paper is pressed onto them with a barren and body weight. When pulled up\, the paper includes a reverse image of the block. All prints have natural variances in tone due to human touch\, which is what makes them special. \nArt exhibit viewing access may be restricted during private event rentals. Calling ahead to confirm is recommended. \nBio: Bethany is a public school teacher and linocut printmaker living in Concord. Her prints feature a whimsical array of plants and animals native to New Hampshire. In addition to printing on paper\, she upcycles thrifted clothing with hand-printed patches and scrap quilted appliqué pieces. Her studio is in her basement\, where her two cats like to assist in the creative process. \n \nMcLane Center\n\n84 Silk Farm Road\nConcord\,NH\n\n \nOpen 11am-5pm Wednesday thru Saturday\n\n+ Google Map \n\n\n603-224-9909 \n\n\nView Venue Website \n\n
