Description: Get the family together to learn more about the birds of Paradise Point at Newfound Lake! We will discuss how birds have adapted to live in and around the forests and lakes, and tips and tricks for identifying birds of central NH. This program is great for beginning birders, but advanced birders are encouraged to come share their knowledge as well.
Participants should bring binoculars and cameras, as well as hiking shoes/clothes. Binoculars are available to borrow at the center. Please dress for the weather, with sturdy shoes. Expect to walk between 1-2 miles over varied trails with some elevation change through wooded terrain. Also, as a reminder, prepare for the sun and any insects we might encounter. Dogs are not allowed on this walk.
