Come enjoy the music of the 1940 at the Clearlakes Chorale’s spring concerts on May 3 and 4 in Wolfeboro. The show includes a mixture of moving classical pieces by composers Gerald Finzi and Benjamin Britten, plus the popular tunes often associated with WWII (“Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” and “Moonlight Serenade” among them). Tickets are $20, and available online at clearlakeschorale.org using PayPal. Tickets can also be purchased at Black’s Paper Store and Gift Shop (8 South Main St., Wolfeboro) and at Bricks at the Lake (51 N. Main St., Wolfeboro). Tickets will be available at the door as well. Children and students are invited free of charge. The spring concerts are generously sponsored by Doran Independent Insurance, Candy Sharp of Maxfield Real Estate, and Taylor Community.
