Hey blues fans! Join us on Sunday, May 19th for an afternoon of blues and support our amazing local musicians as they perform to secure a slot at the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN! This show is open to the public and tickets are $15.
Each year the Blues Foundation conducts a worldwide search and competition for blues bands and solo/duo acts that are ready to take their music careers to the next level. Taking place on Beale Street in Memphis, TN the International Blues Challenge welcomes blues challengers, musicians, fans and supporters of the blues from around the world and is regarded to be the largest gathering of blues acts and performers year after year!
Want to be a competitor? The Granite Stage Blues Society is seeing competitors in the following categories: Band, Solo/Duo and Youth Showcase. Visit granitestateblues.org for applications and more.
- Application fees are $25 for solo/duo and youth showcase and $50 for bands
- Deadline to enter is 5/10/2024
- At least one member of the registered act must be a member of the Granite State Blues Society
- Winners of each category will be announced at the end of the competition
- Winners are eligible to compete in the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN
