Challenge yourself to climb two of Squam’s most iconic peaks! We’ll begin our trek at the Southern Morgan and Percival parking lot along Route 113.  We will hike in a clockwise direction, starting with the Mount Morgan Trail, ascending 2.1 miles to the first summit. We will stop there for snacks and water as we take in beautiful views of Squam Lake and the Sandwich Range. We will continue another mile to reach the summit of Mount Percival, and take another break before starting our 2.3 mile descent. This is a challenging trail with scrambles and ladders resulting in about 1400 feet of elevation gain. Come prepared for a strenuous and rewarding hike.

All ages are welcome, but children must be capable of hiking five miles and be accompanied by an adult.

Please come prepared to hike in mid-summer weather, with moisture-wicking layers, sturdy footwear (boots strongly recommended), plenty of water, sun protection, and food as you prefer. We will be stopping for lunch.
