Ian Campbell & Band deliver an unforgettable blend of acoustic folk, guitar-driven roots rock, and soulful storytelling. With a sound that has been compared to Bruce Springsteen, Ray LaMontagne, and James Taylor, their live performances are a mix of raw energy, emotional depth, and powerful jams.
Ian’s sound has evolved over the years, transitioning from a deeply personal, acoustic folk style to a fuller, more expansive roots rock sound. His debut album, Stories from an Old Set of Strings (2023), introduced listeners to his raw, stripped-down storytelling, where each song was brought to life with only his voice and guitar. The album captures Ian’s journey as a solo artist, sharing intimate, reflective songs that resonated deeply with fans.
With his second album, My Own Way (2025), Ian has embraced a more dynamic sound, adding his full band to create a rich roots rock experience. This new direction combines the emotional depth of his previous work with the energy and grit of a full band, featuring powerful guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and lush arrangements. The album showcases Ian’s growth as both a performer and songwriter, delivering tracks that are more anthemic and deeply rooted in American rock traditions.
As Ian Campbell & Band continue to evolve, their live shows deliver an electrifying energy, blending heartfelt storytelling with high-energy jams. Whether playing intimate listening rooms or full scale festivals, Ian Campbell & Band create an exciting experience that always leaves the crowd wanting more.
