Make this summer one to remember with LRCC’s Summer Enrichment Series! With over 25 non-credit classes designed for fun, creativity, and personal growth, there’s something for everyone. Sharpen your skills in a 3-hour Excel refresher, roll into a sushi-making workshop, learn the art of cocktail mixology, or finally explore photography or container gardening. We even offer cooking camps for kids and inspiring sessions like Empowering Educators through Connection and Wellness. Canning BasicsLakes Region Tourism

Join our comprehensive homesteading canning class designed for small groups of 6-12 participants eager to learn traditional food preservation techniques. Over this hands-on workshop, you’ll master the fundamentals of safe canning practices while creating delicious homemade products like salsa, apple marmalade, hot pepper jelly, and pesto. Using professional canning equipment including water bath canners, proper jars, and beginner-friendly tools, you’ll learn essential skills for preserving seasonal harvests and extending the life of your garden produce. Leave with confidence in canning safety protocols, multiple jars of your own creations, and the knowledge to continue preserving food at home throughout the year.

Buttercream Basics Cake Baking and Decorating (Part 1)
