The Association and M/S Mount Washington Cruises will host the Lakes Region Lantern Festival on Sunday, September 6, in Center Harbor. The M/S Mount Washington will be dockside and feature three live bands, food, and beverages. There will also be food trucks, vendors, and family activities throughout the evening.
This event will serve as a fundraiser for the Association. Lanterns will be sold throughout the summer and will be launched onto the lake at dusk on September 6.
We are in the early planning stages of this exciting event. Lanterns will be available for purchase within the next few weeks at M/S Mount Washington Cruises, Ames Farm Inn, Hart’s Turkey Farm, and Purity Spring Resort.
Lantern pricing will be:
- $15 each
- 2 for $25
- Family four-pack for $45
For families who are unable to return on September 6, lanterns may be decorated and left with us for launch. Each lantern will include a QR code, allowing participants to watch online as their lantern is launched onto the lake.
