Myra Flynn is a gifted lyrical storyteller whose music moves effortlessly between indie, soul, folk, R&B and pop. Her songs pair soulful, expressive vocals with deeply personal storytelling, exploring relationships, identity, family, love and the complicated business of being human.

Flynn has built an impressive career as a singer-songwriter, journalist and storyteller. She has shared stages with artists including Mike Gordon of Phish, Anaïs Mitchell, Ivan Neville, Alexa Ray Joel and the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry, while touring throughout the United States and internationally. Her most recent recording, Shadow Work, explores relationships in their many forms—from mothers and daughters to romance, friendship and our relationship with ourselves.

Beyond music, Flynn is the creator, host and executive producer of Vermont Public’s Homegoings, where she brings the same curiosity and fearless storytelling found in her songwriting to candid conversations about race, culture, art and community.
