Newfound Eco Tours – Grey Rocks Conservation Area, Hebron NH

The Newfound Lake Region Association (NLRA) invites residents and visitors alike to kick
off the summer season by booking a Newfound EcoTour — a two-hour guided boat experience offering
unforgettable views of Newfound Lake’s crystal-clear waters, surrounding mountains, and remarkable
wildlife.
A favorite summer activity for both first-time visitors and longtime residents, Newfound EcoTours
provides passengers with the opportunity to encounter iconic wildlife such as loons and bald eagles,
enjoy the lake from a unique perspective, and learn about NLRA’s ongoing efforts to protect Newfound
Lake and its watershed.
Tours depart from the Grey Rocks Conservation Area at 178 North Shore Road, Hebron, Friday through
Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. beginning Memorial Day weekend. From June 18 through
September 7, tours will expand to Thursdays through Monday. Advance reservations are required.

NLRA members receive a 25% discount on tour pricing. Additional information and online reservations

Newfound EcoTours are part of NLRA’s broader initiative to connect people with the natural beauty and
ecological importance of Newfound Lake while inspiring stewardship and conservation of the region’s
treasured resources.

 

General Information

  • Tours depart from and return to Grey Rocks Conservation Area at 178 N Shore Rd Hebron, NH. (get directions)
  • Advance reservations are required.
  • Boat capacity is 10. We require at least 4 passengers for each tour. Bookings are not confirmed until this number has been reached.

Pricing

  • Adults: $35
  • Youth (under 12): $20
  • NLRA Members receive 25% off with discount code!  Become a member.
  • Private two-hour tours are $250, by advance reservation only.  Please call (603) 744-8689 or email EcoTours@NewfoundLake.org to schedule a private tour.

Cancellations

  • A full refund is issued for cancellations prior to 48 hours before the scheduled tour time.
  • A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled tour time.
  • NLRA may cancel tours at any time due to weather, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances. If we cancel a cruise we will contact passengers to reschedule or issue a full refund.

Weather

  • If the tour is deemed unsafe due to weather conditions, all passengers will be offered a refund or to reschedule their tour.
  • Please arrive for your tour with appropriate clothing for current weather conditions, and remember that it is often cooler on the water. We recommend layers with rain/wind jackets, hats, and gloves as needed.

Parking

Gift cards are available for Newfound Ecotours!  Gift cards do not expire.
