The New Hampshire Veterans Home (NHVH) is proud to announce a community celebration in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, our Home will be hosting a lawn party to celebrate with a day of unity, gratitude, and remembrance to commemorate America’s Semiquincentennial.
As the nation marks this historic milestone, NHVH is uniquely positioned to celebrate the generations of Americans who have fought to defend our freedom.
Join us for food and fun – and a little bit of history:
* 9:30 – the NH National Guard Black Hawk helicopter will land
– Military Vehicles including WWII Ambulance, Dodge pick up, National Guard vehicles
– Revolutionary War and Civil War displays
– NH Fish & Game displays
– food trucks
– Live Broadcast with WFEA the Morning Update’s Jeff Chidester
– NHVH RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) shirt sales
– Uncle Sam on Stilts
– entertainment with Gardner Berry
– and more!
* 11:30 – Black Hawk helicopter departure
* 2:00 food trucks, displays, and military vehicle displays depart
