This regional event raises awareness throughout the month of May, recognized nationally as Mental Health Awareness Month. Proceeds will support the vital mental health programs and services provided by Lakes Region Mental Health Center, the state-designated community mental health center that serves the residents of 24 central NH towns. With main offices in Laconia and Plymouth, the staff of Lakes Region Mental Health sees up to 4,000 individuals and provides up to $900,000 in charity care each year. 

Lakes Region Mental Health Center plays a crucial role in our state’s safety-net mental health system, providing individual and group therapies, 24-hour emergency services, mobile crisis response, open access, and short-term crisis stabilization. Registering to participate, volunteer, or donating to a team’s fundraiser supports these services and help raise awareness for those affected by mental health challenges. 

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a “roller”, there are countless ways to get involved! Register to participate in the 5K to be held at Tanger Outlets, 120 Laconia Rd., Tilton NH or better yet, form a team with friends, co-workers or your family for fun and camaraderie! Kids Fun Run is free and kicks off at 8am, the 5K begins at 8:30 am.
