Our 2024 season begins on May 25th and ends on October 20th.

Carriage House Restaurant is serving lunch 11:30 to 3:30 every day we are open. On a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Join us for an unforgettable Opening Day as we kick off the 2024 season on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Explore the rich history and heritage of “Lucknow’s Laborers: The People Who Built and Cared for Tom Plant’s Estate,” showcased in our brand-new Gallery Exhibit in the Carriage House.
The 2024 season will also offer a brand-new guided tour of the historic 1913-1914 Lucknow Mansion. This exclusive experience will be offered once daily to a maximum of 10 guests and is available only through advanced purchase through the Castle website here: Guided Tour Online Tickets
Also new for this season, you can pre-purchase admission tickets online through the Castle website’s Hours & Admissions page. Online tickets offer guests the opportunity to purchase tickets at their convenience, and these online tickets are available for use on any day during the 2024 season. You can still purchase admission and basement tour tickets onsite. We will be open 6 days a week in May and June (Closed on Wednesday), then 7 days a week in July and August!
Music Nights start June 3rd every Monday-Wednesday. Join us for dinner and live music as you watch the sunset over Lake Winnipesaukee from our beautiful outdoor terrace! You can also enjoy lunch in the historic Carriage House Restaurant every day that we are open.
With breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee and miles of hiking trails maintained by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust, Castle in the Clouds offers an escape into nature like no other. Tickets purchased in advance can be redeemed once Lucknow opens for the season (May 25 – October 20, 2024).

Guided Tours of the Lucknow Mansion:
New in 2024!! Join us for a guided tour of the upper two floors of the Lucknow Mansion! Led by an experienced guide, this 1-hour tour occurs once daily at 9:30am and is limited to 10 guests to enhance the experience. $35 per person, this tour requires navigation of stairs and is not handicap accessible. This tour is not appropriate for visitors aged 5 and younger.
Guided Basement Tour:
$35/per person (includes Self-Guided Tour PLUS 45-minute Guided Tour of Lucknow Mansion basement)
Basement Tour Times:
Basement Tour tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Basement Tour tickets must be purchased on site the day of your visit.
RIDE THE TROLLEY UP TO THE MANSION
Please note that our trolleys are the only means of access to the mansion. Trolleys conveniently depart the Carriage House every 15 minutes until 4:15 pm*. If you or a member of your party requires assistance, ask a trolley driver for alternative boarding options. If you prefer to walk back to the Carriage House, there is a downhill path from the lakeside lawn.
*On days we host weddings, the last trolley service to the mansion is at 3:45 pm. Please call to inquire.
